My Career Journey So Far

I completed my graduation from REVA University, Bangalore. Previously, I worked at Rakuten as a Staff Engineer in Bangalore. Over the years, I got the opportunity to work with big MNCs like TATA, Cisco, and Rakuten. 

Currently, I am a Solutions Engineer at Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions HU in Budapest, Hungary. I worked in the Java Development domain for quite a few years and wanted to switch to DevOps since it is a growing field. Originally from India, I lived in the United States for 15 years. I have worked in the IT sector for the past 20 years. My job with Dell EMC required extensive travel, which I no longer wanted to do, so I explored other options in the industry. I worked with big corporations such as Reliance in India, and I enjoyed its corporate structure. So, I decided to get back to the corporate work life. 

I joined Fortinet as a principal DevOps infrastructure engineer after shifting my focus to DevOps. DevOps combines software development and IT operations to shorten the systems development life cycle and deliver high-quality software. After working in this capacity for a year, I felt I needed to upskill my talents in DevOps and signed up for Simplilearn’s online bootcamp.

My experience with Simplilearn has been great. Before joining the course, I decided to get into DevOps, but the course gave me a structural understanding of it. Interestingly, my wife was hesitant about me taking a digital course, and she thought the experience might not be as beneficial as in-person [DN1] classes, but it turned out to be valuable. One of my responsibilities as a Xeon platform applications engineer is to manage labs for Intel in California. Lab management requires a solid knowledge of IT skills and infrastructure operations. We deploy several applications and services in our lab and configure systems. We have a small infrastructure team and encounter numerous issues in our labs due to staff shortages. These include automation challenges, configuring systems, and shipping products to customers. Fortunately, I have the skills to resolve problems that arise, and I have the trust of management. I decided to upskill myself with Simplilearn to expand my talents and apply my newfound knowledge to solve actual workplace problems. I come from a hardware background and although I have software industry exposure to disciplines like programming and web design, I lacked some of the skills my colleagues possessed.

I have completed my graduation in engineering from Nova College of Engineering & Technology, Vegavaram, Jangareddigudem Mandal. I started working for Euronet Service India Private Limited as a System Operator. Later I joined the National Payments Corporation of India and have been working there for almost 11 years. Currently, I am a Senior Associate at the National Payments Corporation of India.

I want to become a Cloud Security Expert in the coming years. I need to upgrade my skills to reach that position. I have good experience, work ethic, and other technical skills needed to work in a good organisation at a higher position.

With years of experience, I have learned that you need to upscale your skills to grow in an industry. Hence, I decided to get more expertise in cloud computing. From being a system operator to being a senior associate, the road has been full of great opportunities and experiences. My decision to upskill my expertise was an important part of my success.

My Career Journey So Far

I completed my graduation from Sindh Agricultural University Tandojam in 2014. I started working at Techando Pvt Ltd as Server Management Team Lead. The Journey 

I am a Doctorate in Science from the University of Hyderabad. I find myself very passionate about computing and the IT sector. Satisfying my passion, I started my start-up, Gratian Technology, which serves clients from different nationalities. The company is mainly concerned with providing DevOps automation, cloud consultancy and solution to IT services.

The Challenge 

The company dealt with end-to-end automation using DevOps. However, there was a lack of knowledge and skills, which decreased the efficiency of results. Furthermore, I needed to learn not to compromise my passion and the quality of service offered by the start-up. I needed detailed insight into the technology with new and emerging technologies in the domain.
