IATF covers the following aspects of automotive products:

The IATF certification is valid for three years and is confirmed annually by an IATF-certified auditor.  

ISO 13485

ISO 13485 is a quality management system created by Steven Essery and published by ISO in 1996. This standard focuses on the manufacturing design and quality of medical devices. The present ISO 13485 version was published on 1 March 2016. 

This type of quality system focuses on :

  • Risk management activities during production
  • Certain requirements and quality standards for implantable devices

ISO 22000

ISO 22000 is one type of quality system that is based on food security and safety management. It is a standard issued by the International Standard Organization (ISO), and it focuses on improving the overall performance in food safety. These standard protocols are efficient in managing food safety in the global food supply chain. These include the guidelines for managing food safety and traceability in the food chain. 

ISO 22000 has several sub-sections that focus on different areas of food safety. These include:

ISO 200000

ISO 200000 is an information technology service management standard(SMS) that specifies requirements for an organization to set up, maintain and continuously improve a technical service management system. 

This standard allows IT industries to make sure that their ITSM aligns with the business's needs and objectives. It ensures the process of delivery of SMS. ISO 200000 assures clients that their service requirements will be met successfully. 

ISO 27001

ISO 27001 is an information security management system(ISMS). It specifies the requirements that an ISMS provider should adhere to.

Organizations that are ISO 27001 certified ensure that they have a system that manages risks related to the data owned by the company and that the system ensures the secrecy of the principles mentioned in the international standard. 

AS 9100D

The AS 9100D is an ISO-certified program that specifies quality management requirements for the aviation, space and defense industries. It states that all the requirements of safety under this section are mandatory to be followed by the organization.
