  • How difficult is the Safe POPM exam?

The difficulty level of the SAFe POPM examination depends on the knowledge and experience of the exam taker. Although considered a moderate-level exam, the test includes knowledge-based questions that help validate how much of an understanding you have about the Scaled Agile Framework, Agile principles, and the SAFe environment.

Professionals and aspirants familiar with SAFe concepts and Lean Agile practices and who have worked in environments that applied Agile and SAFe practices in practical scenarios may find the popm exam much easier. The total examination mark is 45, and you have to obtain a score of 35, which is 77%, to qualify and get the certification.

Hence, if you gain professional experience that introduces you to real-life SAFe and Agile scenarios before appearing for the examination, obtaining the certification will be easier. For candidates with very little or no knowledge of Agile and SAFe methodologies, the popm exam can be very difficult to clear.
