As documented by Nyanga Camara
I am Nyanga, a dedicated professional who has been immersed in the field of data analytics for nearly eight years. Originally from Guinea, my career took flight in 2015 when I joined the Danish Refugee’s Council as a Database Assistant/Monitoring & Evaluator. In 2016, I first encountered the United Nations as an Operations Data Manager at UNHCR in Guinea. My path led me to the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) in 2018, where I served as an Information Management Officer and Data Analyst. I relocated to Mali as part of this assignment.
Enrollment Decision and Career Goals:
As my contract with MINUSMA concluded in 2022, I recognized the need to upskill myself to pursue a promotion or secure a new job opportunity. During this time, I decided to enroll in the Data Analyst Master’s Program. Equipped with the program’s comprehensive knowledge and practical skills, I applied for a position in the data analytics wing at MINUSMA. Fortunately, my contract was renewed with a 5% salary increase, enabling me to continue working in the data analytics domain. My responsibilities have expanded, and I am now part of the wing that supports the entire mission in Mali through data analytics.
My experience with Simplilearn:
Motivated to stay abreast of the latest technologies in the market, I embarked on a learning journey with Simplilearn. In 2022, I began with the Data Analyst Master’s Program, building upon my existing expertise in data management. Impressed by the quality and variety of courses offered, I decided to pursue the Artificial Intelligence Master’s program. The comprehensive curriculum and industry-expert instructors enhanced my learning experience and inspired me to explore further courses in cloud computing and business analytics, all conveniently available on the Simplilearn platform.
