I am a data analyst enthusiast with extensive experience in software engineering through work in the IT and services industry. With wide exposure in my current field, I wanted to overcome new challenges and responsibilities accompanied by growth and learning.

The Journey

I worked with IBS Software and Digital Avenues as a Software Engineer before joining Mindtree, my current company. I have experience in both UI and API testing in Automation and Functional Testing. Currently, I am a Senior Software Engineer at Mindtree and am simultaneously looking for opportunities in data science and business analytics. My long-term goal is to work as a data scientist and in the field of business analytics.

The Challenge

Changing the career path required starting from scratch with quality guidance. Gathering knowledge, study materials and real-life practices isn’t always easy. I required a reliable source with flexible timing for learning and practice.

A lot of research landed me at Simplilearn’s course on PG in Business Analytics. Finding my dream course in collaboration with Purdue University, added with industrial projects, was all I wanted. I went across Simplilearn’s reviews and registered for it. I describe my experience and mentors as amazing. The self-paced learning and live classes enabled me to learn with the instructors and watch the recordings at my own pace to ensure I did not miss out on anything.
