This fee is intended to help secure greater seating availability at test centers. Candidates who wait to cancel or reschedule their exam at the last minute end up costing another candidate a chance to take their exam on that day.
 
The 30-day period does not include the day of the exam appointment. For example, candidates who schedule their exam for May 5 must reschedule or cancel the exam on or before April 4 to avoid a fee. 
 
Within two days of your appointment:
