Within 30 days of the exam appointment:
 
Rescheduling or canceling the exam within 30 days of a scheduled appointment will result in a US $70 fee. The fee is charged when you go online to reschedule or cancel. The $70 charge will appear on your credit card statement as a charge from the test vendor. 
 
This fee is intended to help secure greater seating availability at test centers. Applicants who wait until the last minute to reschedule or cancel their exams are taking seats that could have been used by other candidates.
 
The 30-day period does not include the day of the exam appointment. If a student who decides to take their test on May 5, they can cancel or reschedule the test up until April 4. Otherwise, they'll be subject to an additional fee.  
 
Within two days of your appointment:

Within two days of the exam appointment, applicants will no longer be able to cancel and will forfeit the entire exam fee. The PMP exam has 200 multiple-choice questions, including 25 pretest questions. The pretest questions are only used to test the validity of future exam questions and do not count toward the final score.
