  • How do you become a CISM certified professional?

    A candidate can sit for the CISM training in Sydney if they meet the following requirements:

    • They need to have successfully completed their CISM examination.
    • They must always act as per the ISACA mandated Code of Professional Ethics.
    • They can never violate the Continuing Education Policy.
    • They need to have worked as an Information Security Manager for three years and two more years in the general field of information security. They must be proficient in at least three CISM domains.
    • They have to apply for the CISM course in Sydney within five years of their CISM exam.

    A candidate who fails to clear the ISACA CISM examination in one attempt is eligible for a second attempt if they use Simplilearn’s special voucher. This benefit is only available for candidates outside Africa and the Indian subcontinent. A candidate can use this offer by:

    • Attending at least one class in the course.
    • Sitting for the CISM exam within thirty days of completing the course.
    • Submitting the official certification of failure.

  • What are the prerequisites for CISM certification?

    A candidate is deemed eligible for the CISM training in Sydney if they meet these criteria:
    • The candidate needs to have turned in their CISM training in Sydney application no more than five years before taking the CISM test.
    • The candidate needs to provide verified accounts of their previous work experiences in their application.

    ISACA uses and reports scores on a common scale of 200 to 800. For example, the scaled score of 800 represents a perfect score with all questions answered correctly; a scaled score of 200 is the lowest score possible and signifies that only a small number of questions were answered correctly. You must achieve a score of 450 or higher to pass the CISM exam.

  • What certification will I receive after completing the training?

    After successful completion of the course, you will be awarded the course completion certificate along with the 16 CPE certificate from Simplilearn.
